coruscations attending the whole length of the luminosity, giving to the phenomena the aspect of a wrathful messenger, and not that of a tranquil body pursuing a harmless course..comet of 1680

Hi all
Click on the above link to see a nice animation of the comet supplied by an observer on the MPML. Whats interesting to me is that it shows an ion tail AND dust tail..something i suspected visualy but declined to mention at the time. What do you think of the animation?

Hi Dave
If you havent read my other thread on this comet i hinted that maybe you could capture an animation of Pojmanski or 73P now below Arcturus..it would be the first in Ireland again!

Sorry Martin - I missed that one!
Crikey - yet another challenge from you! Haven't let you down yet but... I recently resited the 1200 (just a few meters) so I need to polar align again (doh!) so that'll take some time. And added to that, weatehr reports for the next week are woeful.
Funnilly enough, I nearly imaged a comet on Friday night but I was too wasted on writing MPC reports
If I get J65 upa and running sharpish and we get the weather, I'll give it a lash. Fair enough?
Cheers
Dave
