I'd really like to see a few more folks here coming up with some Irish Firsts'

We should have a prize for the first Irish animation of this comet.... That'd get the competition going :D

Anyhow, seeing as you are buttering me up, I'll give it a lash :D

Cheers

Dave

Lovely image, and yet another green comet, we had a number of those 2 or so years back, or are they all green?

The green is due to Cynagen (dont think i spelt that correct) . Alot of gassy comets emit either blue or green colours when close to the sun. Dusty comets are manily white/gold or even red!

One of the great comets in historical records was blood red in colour and appearently a frightening sight as it took up much of the sky and described as looking like a dragon..would love to see one of those babies!
