Total Lunar Eclipse Saturday March 3rd 2007

I see the image now, MAGIC
I have 100% clear sky here, I can see the moon at the moment, getting higher, cant wait !!!

Yeah, just been outside showing a few neighbours and the kids playing football the Moon, Saturn, and Venus in the boni's. Told them all about the eclipse,and the times, and what it will look like etc. They were well impressed. Some knew what is going to happen, and chipped in with the explanations!

I got the broadbgand working in the dome so I'll be able to keep an eye here and watch the eclipse, I'll put some images up as it goes along.

The seven oclock position of the moon is definitely getting slightly fainter, have a look !

I can not believe this...

I am all setup outside in the garden. prepped for everything.... dies my battery on the digital camera... so I will now be waiting for the next 30 min for it to recharge at least enough to get on the next few hours ...

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh ... how could I forget this battery !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm only getting the darkening with my digital camera... its freezing and clear here!!! Nothing through the scope... wish i'd invested in a focal reducer though...
