It's Just that I love events like these...

So on
Saturday 19th of MAY - The Crescent moon will be just about 3 deg from Venus.
Might make a nice photo - op!
Monday 21st of May - The Moon passes less than a degree from the Behive
Cluster (M44 / parasepe)
This is going to be a nice sight and a chalaging scene to photograph!
Lastly but not leastly.
Tues, 2nd of May
the occlutation of Saturn by the Moon before sunset.
WARNING. NEVER LOOK THROUGH A SCOPE OR BINOCULARS
WHILE THE SUN IS ABOVE THE HORIZON
(unless you know what you are doing)
YOU MAY BE BLINDED PERMINANTLY!!!!!!!!
This scene just shows the time when Saturn 'Emerges' from behind the Moon.
Occultation starta around 18.00 from my latitude (Shannon)
and Ends approx 24:00.
May looks like good fun..
I wont be around coz,,,,,,
