Comet 8P/Tuttle - a naked eye object for Winter? was created by Seanie_Morris
Does anyone have any dummy charts for this comet? I saw somewhere that it should be a naked eye comet (though faint) for early December, and that currently, it is near Polaris. Any info would be appreciated.

This looks like an interesting one to watch. According to my software it will pass through or very close to M33 on 30th Dec at a predicted 5.9 magnitude. Nice photo opportunity

:shock: Must make note of that! Hopefully it will be reasonably bright at even mag 5 i'd be happy, but since it is a periodic, i'm sure that it's very predictable now. Hopefully some better charts will come out over the next month or so...
