Hi,
Nice to see Keith got a mention in S&T for his quick off the mark DSLR photo.
Also, members of VSOG observed the same star in Cassiopeia on the same evening (31 Oct 2006). I myself, estimated it as mag 8.5 at 21.50 UT (using the Pronto), this was one of the very earliest magnitudes estimates. Liam Smyth imaged it just after midnight on the same night with his CCD camera.
