Well done lads.
I had my gear set up but Yet again I missed it because of clouds (thunder storm!)
I saw a video grab of it on utube by a guy in Dublin.
The address is at the bottom of this video grab.

I didn't see it on Saturday night but did last night, it was cool to see the ISS and shuttle in the sky at the same time, one chasing the other.

Just back from Florida from the Shuttle launch.
Absolutely amazing to watch Discovery go - we were lucky with weather and no technical glitches, allowing Discovery to go ontime. If you get the chance to go to KSC, definitely go out on the NASA Causeway where you get an excellent view of Pad 39A 4.5 miles away. Failing that, anywhere on the shore of the Indian River in Titusville gives excellent views of the pad. Only 10 flights left, so go soon.....
Even better, I met two TFNGs (Mike Mullane and Jon McBride) at KSC that day, the TFNG 30 year reunion was on in Titusville that weekend. Very, very nice guys indeed.

My wife and I were enjoying our south facing garden on the beautiful evening of 31 May when we spotted this pair of bright spots floating across the sky near Malahide:
Three guesses as to what this pair of IFO (Identified Flying Objects) were. Hint: somebody called the plumber.
(Sorry if this is a double post, I'm not sure if the last one took)
