Planetary Alignment

No matter what object aligns you will always get a fringe of people predicting the end of days. Religion would call anything contrary to believe blasphemy. Maybe it's time to call all the bogus astronomy predictions astrophemy.

If there is an alignment , then great, it might make up for a nice observing session.
As for it been a sign of doomsday, where does this need for any kind of alignment meaning the end of the world come from, its like saying that an alignment of trees in a forest means anything, it doesn't.
It's interesting to note that it can be proven that a truck passing by your house has more of a gravitational effect on you then Jupiter has on you.
