It didnt last long, saw 3 in total, then the clouds came back in force.

Scattered cloud here from my location in Meath. I have the video cameras switched on monitoring wide angle views of the sky from both West and North directions. Here are a few video stills so far from this evening (see links), unfortunately no fireballs yet.
OK, I think I will have a nice cup of tea now and go to bed and let the cameras do the work for me;) .

The NIAAS (EAAS) had an organised meteor watch and bbq (good burgers!) last night - weather was variable but got clear spells and saw 35 Perseids over a couple of hours plus the usual numerous satellites at this time of year - it was good fun.
