Yuup read the article - still maintain that some folks can not, will not, do not understand science theory....but all we can do as amateur astronomers is keep plugging away and say to people "look up" aint it beautiful we need more science and astronomy in schools. If we can ignite an interest early on in life it may stay with us (if it is strong enough). Unfortunately social and cultural pressures change our views - an example of this is the day I was in a large library in the midlands and noticed there was nearly 30 books in the childrens section on astronomy but only 2 in the adult section....but as Homer Simson would say "wat can ya do" :rant: :ermm:
