Hi,
Nice image Keith. Just wondering why you used a light pollution in darkest(?) Co Cavan.
I took an image of the comet near M31. Its without a light pollution filter, but maybe I could
benefit from one as I am only 25km from Dublin city centre. See my image at mywebsite Variable Star Nights

Hi ALL, I'm glad that you liked the shot, and hope that it got you out to see the sight of it
John, I used the filter because there is some light pollution in that direction from the town of cootehiil here in cavan, the comet just happened to be positioned over it
Keith.

Nice work Keith & John. Well done.
Great that we have clear skies all this week.
Just need to find the time to spend under them...
Here's a little shot I took

Cracker of a shot Keith, well done! What were the camera specs/conditions for that shot?
Nice shot too Michael, love the purple hue in the sky, very summery feeling. The Comet's tail is quite broad.
