Partial Lunar Eclipse ! was created by Keith g
Hi all, tonight's Partial Lunar Eclipse was much more noticeable then I had expected. I had thought that it would be barely be even visible, never mind the decent dark 'chunk' taken out of the moon in the 10 o'clock position
I got a nice shot of it rising over my local lake

Congratulations, Dave, Seanie, Donal and Keith. Unfortunately, John Flannery, Michael Murphy, Tony H, Valerie and myself could not see the Moon until after 10 pm -and the eclipse over. Still we looked at the double -double in Lyra at 140X. Then we looked at Jupiter and its version of a double -double. Europa and Io to its west and Ganymede and Callisto to its east. Very nice.
Sorry you missed the eclipse, Paul.
Aubrey.
