Erigone closes in on Regulus was created by JohnONeill
Hi,
Asteroid 163 Erigone is due to occult 1st magnitude star Regulus just after 2hrs EDT tonight (19-20 March 2014) from a strip of NE North America.
I imaged them closing in last night. See my website: Variable Star Nights
However, its likely it will be not be just Erigone which will cover Regulus, but also cloud!

Hi, John. I can take it we won't be able to see this event in Ireland?
Aubrey.

Hi Aubrey,
I am afraid not. Even here, it has clouded over already.
