With the closure of the October 2014 Astrophotography Competition, it is time to judge the entries. Please view the photos below and cast your vote on the Poll included. There is no need to reply to this post, or add comments - people's views are their own but may seem to sway favour towards a particular photo if too many comments towards a particular photo is made.

Taken on 15th June 2011 with a Canon 300D at the prime focus of a Intes MK67 Maksutov operating at F8. This is a single minimally processed image, the star to the right is a magnitude 8 star in Ophiuchus.

Mosaic of the Moon at waxing gibbous (89% illuminated) taken on 13th December 2013. Shot with a Canon 1100D attached to Skywatcher 200PDS and its using a 2X Barlow E-Lux.
