Will/can the the material associated with this competition (information, logs, hints, tips, pictures, whatever) be organized into a coherent set(!) of webpages? i.e. can it be written up for reference & posterity.
Its' a great idea but - in the long view of things - ineffectual (for want of a better word!) if its all buried in a BBoard.
Repetitiously Yours.

If you use imageshack.us you can host your pics without registering. Failing that - I'll got webspace I can use if you like - just mail me the pics and I'll mail you back the link.

Your responses!
Mark,
yes, definitely DSO's will be among the categories! This is on a definite running, though trial-based, set up. This coud be pushed to a fortnightly competition in the future. We won't know till we get the first few months ran, and see what the effects are, and interests are like.
Anthony,
no problem!
Frank,
It was suggested to have this as its own seperate forum, which could happen so that this topic won't become lost. It was up for debate as to whether that was needed (I was for the motion!).
However, when the new front page is being constructed/finished, there will be a section about the competition (visually, like one of the boxed areas you currently see on the current homepage). The entries themselves will not be 'hoarded' in these boards, but on a seperate section of this website (much like the ILPAC has its own section), which will be created to keep this an IFAS item, but seperate entity, if you know what I mean.
Steve,
thanks for the image shack tip. flickr was just a suggestion. There are a couple of very well known free hosting places on the web - which you each choose, is up to you!
