September's Entries - Time to judge for the winner! (2006) was created by Seanie_Morris
With the closure of the September Astrophotography Competition, it is time to judge the entries. Please view the included images, and select from the poll options which one you would like to see the winner. There is no need to reply to this post, or add comments - peoples views are their own but may seem to sway favour towards a particular photo if too many comments towards a particular photo is made.
You have only 1 Vote, so make it count!
Entry #1
M11, The Wild Duck Cluster in the Northern edge of the Scutum Star Cloud. Sketched on the 14th September 2006 as seen through a Sky Watcher 200mm - Eyepiece used was a 10mm Kellner. (I know the artist's sig gives it away! -Ed.)
Entry #2
NGC2169, Open Cluster in Orion. Taken with a 200mm SCT on November 27th 2005
Entry #3
NGC 869 and NGC 884 are better known as the Double Cluster, or even "Chi" and "h" Persei. Taken November 20th 2005. This photo contains 26 x 60 second exposures, dark and bias frames and was taken with a Canon 350D using a Williams optics ZS80 80mm piggybacked on Celestron CG-11 and processed in ImagesPlus.
Good Luck to our entrants!
