Looking for astrophotography competition theme ideas

I'm just throwing this out there... If you look back on the past years themes for the IFAS Astrophotography Competition, I'd like to try and not overlap themes for another little while yet. Throw some ideas at me here!

4. dark nebulae
5. planetary conjunctions
6. capturing variability of stars over two or more exposures

Supernovae
Black holes
Dark matter
The Oort Cloud
The Cosmic Background

A movie/animation of Jupiter's moons.
Deep solar system (Pluto, Quaorar, Sedna, Xena etc.)
Inner solar system - asteroids (the biggies) - stills or movies.
Time-lapse/movie of the stars crossing the sky.
An occultation of a star by an asteroid!

These are all a lot more technical but should provide a good challenge!

Variable stars.

Cant stand studying the things myself (unless they vary very very very quickly, pulsing even ) but might make an interesting photography project. Probably involving multiple photos over time.

Retrograde motion

Did we ever get an image of Seanies famous closed clusters?

Stellar spectra (or just coloured stars)

Plenty of room for imaginative work here. Whether its shots with the scope modified with chicken wire for diffraction, or a simple shot out of focus to bring out the colours of stars. If the title of spectra was used people can get more creative with gratings or even CD's.

designate a constellation

The target of the month would be say Orion. Everyone is encouraged to take a pic of Orion. Might be interesting for light pollution images too..

Astronomy from my house

A 30 second max exposure is allowed using just an SLR camera, and whatever telescope you can set up. The pic must be taken from your house. Inside a window, out the front door, through a skylight in the attic. What's the most creative astronomy photo you can take without leaving the house.

Satellites

Iridium flares, ISS, random regular satellite trails, close up of NOSS triplets or ISS. Any images or planes or that show flashing green and red lights will be disqualified!
