February Entries - time to judge for a winner (2008) was created by Seanie_Morris
With the closure of the February Astrophotography Competition, it is time to judge the entries. Please view the ONLY image this month, and select from the poll options your choice of peas over beans with your steak... or the only entry this month.
You have only 1 Vote, so make it count (as if you have much of a choice!)
Peas
Beans
Entry #1
Good Luck!

It's tough one indeed, as the Galaxy is flickr hosted and thus blocked by the firewall. The peas and beans make it through OK though!

I'm going for the beans, its well focused, good colour balance and looks very natural although I think the limits were pushed slight to far in registax and the vignetting to the upper left and right could be removed in photoshop, how many frames were stacked to get the end image ?

Yes indeed, the beans and peas generally get through fairly quickly, the galaxies are a bit harder to digest
Perhaps this months competition is an intelligence test, spot the odd one out...umm...."I'll take the beans Bob....."
Hilarious stuff
