August Competition Theme - Saturn (2013)

Your target for entry into August's competition will be on the jewel of the Solar System, Saturn. The target is a photo of Saturn through a telescope/high power lens, and includes conjunctions. Your photo can be one that entered in a previous IFAS competition only if it was not a winner in the past. It could have been taken at any time.

This Month's Prize
Has been kindly sponsored by Ktec Telescopes and is a QHY5 Mark II CCD Camera , great for use as a guidescope camera and for planetary imaging.


Closing Date: Saturday August 31st.

TO ENTER:
Entries are to be sent to photo_competition@irishastronomy.org and should be hosted off-site, and linked to that provider. DO NOT ATTACH/SEND PHOTOS VIA EMAIL.

PLEASE make all images no larger than 800 pixels in width. Those that are larger will be requested to be made smaller, or failure to reply will result in omission from the competition. Rules etc can be found here .
