With the closure of the July 2013 Astrophotography Competition, it is time to judge the entries. Please view the images and cast your vote on the Poll included. There is no need to reply to this post, or add comments - people's views are their own but may seem to sway favour towards a particular photo if too many comments towards a particular photo is made.

Taken on January 18th 2013. Canon EOS 60D
Moon Photo #2
Single frame taken under excellent seeing using a Canon 450D and an 8" Meade SCT at F10. Slight sharpening and contrast adjustment only to the original frame.

Fiery Red Moon, Frozen Blue Landscape.
Moon Photo #4
Supermoon 22nd June 2013, Olympus E400 camera with 1000mm telephoto lens, Exposure 1/30th sec at ISO 100. No processing.

Waxing Gibbous Moon 18th July 2013, a stack of 24 subs (1/250 ISO100) taken with Canon 1100D and SkyWatcher ST80. The Stack was done in Registax v5 and final image tweaked in CS6.

October 2007 photo of what appears to be a collision between an airplane and the Moon at dusk. Canon 350D 1/60th second exposure autofocus, slight processing in Photoshop CS4.

Captured using a Canon 350D at prime focused through an Intes MK67 on an LXD75 GEM. ISO 100 at 1/100th of a second.

March 3rd 2007, Totality from Ireland, taken with a 6" reflector and a Konica Minolta Dynax 5D DSLR.
