With the closure of the February 2014 Astrophotography Competition, it is time to judge the entries. Please view the videos and cast your vote on the Poll included. There is no need to reply to this post, or add comments - people's views are their own but may seem to sway favour towards a particular photo if too many comments towards a particular photo is made.

Astronomy Animations #1

Asteroid 16693 Moseley at magnitude 17.6. Taken using a 0.36m SCT on Astro-Physics 1200GTO with Finger Lakes ProLine 1001E imager, 60 seconds X 44 exposures


Astronomy Animations #2

A time lapse image of Jupiter, over 5 hours worth of rotation. The animation was processed to show Jupiter from its moon Io's point of view. Taken using an 8" SCT and planetary imaging camera.
