May's Competition Prize is kindly sponsored by:
Your target for entry into May's competition is on Star Clusters. With the onset of Summer, there are lots of areas available throughout the Milky Way with star clusters (and yes, Albert White, open and closed ones!). Your photo can be one that entered in to a previous competition only if it was not a winner in the past. It can be astronomical, scenic or even artistic (e.g. on paper by hand).
This Month's Prize
Has been kindly sponsored by Ktec Telescopes and is a copy of Observing the Night Sky with Binoculars and a pair of Helios Solana 10 X 50 Binoculars .
Closing Date: Saturday May 31st.
TO ENTER:
Entries are to be sent to ifasphoto@yahoo.ie and should be hosted off-site, and linked to that provider. DO NOT ATTACH/SEND PHOTOS VIA EMAIL.
PLEASE make all images no larger than 800 pixels in width. Those that are larger will be requested to be made smaller, or failure to reply will result in omission from the competition. Rules etc can be found here .
NOTE re: flickr Hosted Images
flickr tends to protect images hosted on its service, thus making it nigh on impossible to just 'Right-click and Save As' an image. Please bear this in mind when sharing your flickr images as I have had to take screen shots and crop them in the past.
PLEASE also include your IFAS username with your entry.
Clear Skies & Good Luck!

Just a few days left folks. Some impressive images have been submitted already, but there is plenty of room for more!
Thanks,
Seanie.
