Hi Arnie - any idea what the artifact is to the lower right of the images? It almost could be some gravitational lensing!

By the way, the Mewlon/Dream Machine setup seems to be very well matched. I'm hoping to get a setup together for photometry - would you have any advice?

I did ask on ICRAR if anyone was doing any such work and whilst I save up my pennies, I could join in. But I didn't get any response - I assume everyone is busy having babies or working

Hi Dave and Bart,

I think the artifact is more like an internal reflection. The chip on the DM is extremely sensitive.

We have a few independent observers using the Mewlon for special projects. One from Finland is tracking GRB and the after glow.

You might contact Martin directly about your questions on photometry. He is best in a position to respond on that matter.
