constantly logging in was created by michaeloconnell
Bart,
Recently I've noticed that the site is repeatedly asking me to log in.
Example: I would initially log in. Then I would select to see unanswered posts. I would read one of them. When I click to reply to it, I'd type a short message. Upon hitting the submit button, it'd ask me to log in.
It has also happened just after I would successfully log in. Upon hitting the next button, say, view unanswered posts, it's ask me to log in. I would then re-log in. However, it now thinks I've logged in twice in quick succession approx 1min apart so I've no idea what messages I missed out on from earlier in the day.
Any of this making sense?
Confused!

Sounds to me like a cookie problem with your browser.
What browser are you using at the moment ?
If its Internet Explorer you can change the cookie preferences in the Tools --> Internet Options menu and then go to the Privacy Tab.
Personally I have had no problems on the message boards (I'm using firefox).
Hope that helps,
Shane

Can you verify that you have them enabled?

Mike,
you have the "View Posts Since Last Visit" page bookmarked right? So that everytime you log it, you just select it from your bookmarks. Perhaps this is becoming corrupted somehow, with the recent updates to the site.
I would suggest deleting your temp internet filles from same folder, and delete your cookies, and let all the new content back in again, including adding a new bookmark for your New Posts page (works the same for Firefox as in IE).
