Hi,
I just joined the forum and am new to using bulletin boards.
I wanted to get some feedback on a problem I have with an astro landscape photograph I took.
In the FAQ's it says to display an image it must be an '....image stored on a publicly accessible web server ..........'.
I dont have access to a publically accessible web site. However there seem to be loads of pictures included as part of the posts, how do they do this? Can I do it?
Any help appreciated.

Hi Aidan, welcome along! It's easy, just upload your shot into the files section here, in the astrophotography folder.
Then, when posting your message, click the 'img' gray icon under the subject heading, paste your link, then click 'img' again.
That's it! Should work.

Hi Keith,
Thanks for the info.....i'm nearly there, I found the files section but how do you actually upload a photo to the section? The rest I think I can manage.

You need to be logged into post a file but since you're posting here you obviously are!
Go to the files section and go the apropriate folder (in this case astrophotography and perhpas even a su-folder of that section). Then, when you are in the right place, look at the top of the screen and you will see a drop down list entitled "Folder Functions", from this list select "upload a file here" and then just fill in the form that comes up next.
Then, when you are done you will be taken back to the folder and your file will be listed. Just click on it and copy and paste it's URL and you're ready to add it to your post as described above.
Enjoy!
