Change of front page text - the competition?

It wasnt at the time of my post, its probabily a good idea if the image is changed on the first day of the month, so each winner gets a fair run on the front page.

Valid point, and for the current issue, I am to blame. I was barely inside the house apart from a shower and a bed from Wednesday through to yesterday - I was constructing and errecting a shed and making a garden to go with it! So, I was hardly on here for those days. Hence even the posts about the competition itself were not introduced till Saturday (3rd) instead of Thursday (1st).

I generally make the changes tothe front page within 24 hours of getting a PM with the details and I think that's more than reasonable. It's up to the people who want stuff advertised on the front page to get to me, I'm not going to looking for it .... that's the web master's job
