New Layout

Firstly, let me say, a fantastic job was done on updating the look of the site.

I noticed in some of the beginner posts that they were looking for a
basic set of guidlines for starting off...

My suggestion would be a monthly star chart with a list of naked eye / bino /scope objects and tips etc...
Nothing heavy ..... just to get people interested.

That would indeed be a nice thing to do. Thing is we need people to volunteer to actually generate this content. The web team are techies, they have enough techie stuff to keep them occupied, what we need are people who are prepared to volunteer their time to generate content.
