Maybe a beginners forum, that general and technical questions about astronomy could be posted by beginners (like me) and answer by the more experienced
I'm not so in favour of this. Doing so would create the impression that the reast of the board was for the more experienced users only, which I dont think should be the case. And also I think the board will be a bigger success if people feel free to post beginners questions without having to wonder if they have accumulated enough knowledge to post in the `real`fourms.
So perhaps just a nice friendly introduction page encouraging people to post their questions wherever appropriate would be better.
Though for those completely new to the hobby, a fourm under `General` might be of help.
Just my 2c.
Cheers,
~Al (who cant remember his password and cant get it mailed to him cause mail isnt working right!)

I've found some other folk who are working on the light pollution Issue! Well David Bell pointed me at them.
Anyway, Could we have a light pollution Fourm. Under General or Observing I guess, Im not sure which would suit best, but I guess it could be moved if it turned out to be an unsuitable place?
Cheers,
~Al

I added it to General and made you the Moderator of it.
If we decide later that therhe is a better place for it I can always move it.
