Hi All,
some group members might find this of interest, it was sent earlier to the EAAS Webmaster.

"Could you please make your members aware of an exhibition by Robert McCall at Ards Arts Centre, Newtownards in September and October 2004.

Bob McCall has been commissioned on a continual basis by NASA since the 1950's giving him a unique insight into the development of space program from the Apollo Missions right up to the present day. Described by Isaac Asimov as, "the nearest thing to an artist in residence from outer space"his designs have been incorporated into the badges of space crews and reproduced on postage stamps of countries around the world. He has also worked as publicity artist on numerous science fiction films such as 2001 A Space Odyssey, Star Wars and Star Trek: The Motion Picture. All these varied activities will be reflected in the exhibition which has been specially selected for Ards Arts Centre by Mr. McCall and Mr. Andre Licardi, a Director of The McCall Museum. This will be the first exhibition of McCall's work in Europe.

Mr. McCall will give a FREE talk on his work and links to NASA on Friday 10th September at Ards Arts Centre 7.30. Places are very limited so to book a seat please call +44 28 91810803".

John C McConnell,
