Question about For Sale forum

Question about For Sale forum was created by jhoare
I have one or two items that I no longer use, are still in (at least) good nick and usable but I don't think there's much demand for them. Are reverse auctions allowed in the For Sale forum?

A reverse auction is where the seller states an asking price and waits for a fixed time before dropping the price. The first validated offer at the current asking price secures the goods.

In case anyone needs to know I just don't trust that eBay thingy, as both a seller and as a buyer.

I don't see any problem with it. Seems like a very simple and fair way to sell stuff!

I don't care either way, sell it as you see fit! As long as you're not a company, why should we frown upon it? :)

Thanks all. I have a Televue Ranger posted at the moment. It deserves an appreciative home (or else it stays in a closet as a collectible) but the next bundle I plan to post I really, really want to move and in that case a reverse auction seems the most likely way to do it.

Am I the only one who has bought too many things over the years and ended up with a collection of unused astro gear? Thought for another thread... (General form, I think).
