Lads, I have an idea. (this always means work for the website team)
Is it possible to set up 12 heavens-above accounts, one for each IFAS club location and then make up a map like the club map and click your club "star"
and up pops a page from heavens-above giving ISS pass information. There would be a button on the front page "click here for ISS passes in your area"
This would be for people who haven't heavens above account and would provide a great free service to people on the site.

Dave,
We have done that on our homepage here in Kerry. See the link below. Maybe it is some thing each club should do instead of IFAS.... although the times do not really vary anywhere on the island of ours.

Good Idea.
A little tricky to set up what you suggest though no?
What about a small link to www.irishastronomy.org/boards/viewtopic.php?t=2277
on the main page?

Ahh right I see that now,

Yeah, great idea.
(BTW Trev - Great ISS shot!)

Of course it can be done, rather easily actually. The semantics are simple: to have a map of Ireland (like the IFAS clubs one), and, with markers for specific areas on it, create hotspots that when clicked bring you to the HA info page for that location. But, that is the only drawback - you're then taken away from this site (unless there's an iFrames-or-other way of doing that). Something we have been thinking about already.
