Clock on GMT

Hey I just noticed the boards server is reporting zulu!

It's not the server where the problem is. Each user has a time zone set in their preferences and that's what determines the time they see. PhpBB has a rather annoying short-coming in that it doesn't change time zones for people so each user has to do it themselves.

Go to your Profile ( www.irishastronomy.org/boards/profile.php?mode=editprofile ) and change the time-zone to GMT+1 and all will be well ... well ... till the autumn.

Obviously it's not possible or you would have implemented it already BUT - is it not possible to set automatic DST updating on all profiles?

It is possible in the sense that I could re-write parts of PHPBB but I'm not going to. The effort would not be worth the gain as it were.

This is just one of the many little flaws in PHPBB that we have to tolerate.
