I was going to post a new thread about this but I see it has been brought up.
I have worked with Joomla and Fireboard on other sites and it should be quite easy to get the time correct.
If needed, I could write instructions?
It would be cool to have the post times right IMO.

Don't want to be too cheeky bumping this again, but it would be great to have accurate post times.
The clock is 6 hours behind.

It's not the forum clock that it is wrong. its the default timezone.
The server is in Kansas and uses CT time which is 6 hours behind.
At the moment, the server automatically defaults all new users to that timezone.
I can update the users timezone in the database to GMT so that is correct for them but I haven't found a way for users to do it themselves or have it set automatically

Just checked one of my Joomla sites.
In
Global Configuration -> Server -> Locale Settings
I can change the time zone.
Is it possible to do that for this site?

Yes, but this should be set to the timezone the server is in.
In the database, the tifas_users table, if I add "timezone=0" to the params column, this will set the timezone for the user.
I haven't found a way to do this through the frontend
