IFAS Sketching Competition - Feedback Wanted

While I doubt if I could make a passable effort at sketching it s nice to see the competition run - it is good to see the work of others.

Now this idea maybe way off the wall but tasks could be set for interested parties e.g

A) As many people sketch the disc of the moon over the course of a month and the submitters collaborate on make a time-sequence of scaled and rotated sketches.

Pick a phase of the moon and again invite as many sketchers to have a go at similar but this time align and stack (in same vein as lunar imaging) in a similar collaborative effort (I don't know if this is even technically meaningful/achievable)

Just using my imagination to see if it leads anywhere or stimulates any further discussion / ideas.

I was hoping to begin sketching soon and enter a few competitions when I become good enough.

I like to see all the images and sketches on these forums and would be sorry to see the competition go.

I suppose if the weather improves and as we go into the
darker months maybe more people will try their hand at it?
If it's only the same 2 people every month after that then maybe
it needs looking at?
I dunno...
