Back to topic. I agree with Amanda, the talk was waay too heavy on the math. I dont think its fair to say it was all math, but it was a very large part of it.

I spoke to an older gentleman after the talk. I asked him what he thought of it, he said. 'Didn't understand an awful lot, but I enjoyed it tremendously'. I asked him how come? He said that he just trusted Brian with the math and picked up on the non-technical aspects such as how it was possible to go forward in time but not back. I think the non-technical person, like this man, would have gotten a lot more out of the talk than some others because they didnt *try* to follow the math. I know I got lost half way through. I enjoyed it a lot more after I gave up trying to understand the mathematical elements.

Anyway next months talk should be far less technical and much more enjoyable.
