Hi Dace as far as i know you can keep putting them together but to avoid losing the signal quality you should also use a usb cable with a booster. You can buy one in a place called all cables they are in Dublin just off the south circular road White swan business park

Thanks for the info. In the end I bought a couple of active 5m USB cables from ebay. Only cost €15 each including postage. I reckon I can use them and standard USB cables and I should have enough cable to reach the parts of the garden that ordinary cables can't.
