Moe --
I don't have a cell phone, so I'm not on the texting list. I've got to work something else out -- I drove out to Monasterboice and Millmount tonight only to find no one there.
What's up at Millmount Sunday?
Thanks,
-- Jeff.

Firstly to Jeff. Micheal called me Wednesday to say that nights meeting was cancelled but he mentioned that there will be a meeting at Millmount at 8pm on Sunday evening. I think it's part of a cultural events gathering. He wanted a few people with scopes etc. to show up. He said there would be some talks given on Astronomy.
To answer Keith's query, yes Bonmahon is in Waterford. It's an ideal location for Stargazing as it's in the middle of nowhere. The nearests towns are Tramore and Dungarvan, (Tramore i think is closest at 11 miles) so there is very little light pollution. I don't go back there often enough.
Where are you from?

Hey Moe, I'm from Waterford city, now living in Kingcourt! Just back from the bank holiday weekend , I was in bonmahon yesterday
It's a great spot to go for observing/imaging, I go near annestown, on the bonmahon side, nothin' but good dark skies
