Well since we're at it... Michael, it's not a bad avatar, maybe if he tweaked and waxed his moustache a little, looked straight at the camera and lost some of his 'cheese appeal' it would help. The cute dimples and the sheepish grin aren't bad, but there's room for improvement :lol: LOL

Cheers, naw i had already taken many shots of the Milkway, M42(turned out crap lol) mars, M44... I just love to try new things and find out thr results. So i seen the tree and went for it :)

I think that would be a great idea. Maybe a seaction with the top 12 members images.


Perhaps a calender of the top imagers in the buff - a la Calendar Girls. I would of course need the Leviathan to hide my embarassment... :oops:

So, who would get away with an ETX70? Suppose depends on the time of year the shoot happens...

By the way Conor - nice image. I'd agree with Michael on the feedback - I bet if you shot it as he suggests you'd have a nice xmas tree with lights on!

And Michael - I agree with Dave's comments re your avatar. Bit too much wax for my liking. Get a bit tickly dontcha know...
