Nice aurora lads,
There was a match in thomand park here this evening, so my northern horison was aglow with flood lights, the sky was actually blue in that direction, so not a hope in hell of seeing anything there.

hi all! I just boought bbc sky at night at night and saw conors picture of an aurora!
Absolutely stunning in my opinion :shock: ! Its in the readers photos on the cd cover disc!

My path to work in Mullingar (18 miles away from where I live in Daingean) last night brought me through desolate bog. Stopped and had a look (around 22:15hrs), as Ronan in GAC informed me earlier about the alert. Pristine clear skies, virtually no light pollution, but no auroral glows I'm afraid...
