Bob has sent me on the bylaws and I've had a look through them and they seem reasonable. I'll be having a phone call with him soon to discus this further.
Those of you who have read the link I posted in the last mail will see what the local sections do in the Section Goals part. One are that I want to discus further is the organisation of local sections, in particular how the section leader should get elected and how should the regional section tie in with the IFAS. ie should it be a separate group and be somehow affiliated, or should it really be the IFAS with the section leader an elected IFAS position, or something in between. Lots to think about...
Please give me feedback on whether you think this is a good idea in principle or not.
