My S&T came on Friday.
I have to say I was looking forward to the RCX review, until I read it

Yeah mine came on Friday too, and Sky at Night the day before.

By the way, what's wrong with the RCX review Dave?

I just thought they were abit leanient when it came to the issue of the gap at the top of the scope that allows the corrector section to move.
This gap is a major issue as far as I (and many on the yahoo groups) are concerned.
this allows all kind of garbage into the tube and onto the internal optics.
You might say so what, well you'll need to get out the allen keys to dismantle the front end of the scope to clean these optics.
What would it have taken for meade to put some sort of draft excluder brush here or whatever to block pollen/insects from getting in.

AND,the SCT versus RCX image was very interesting, I do believe that the RCX has sharper wide field image ability, I just thought that the image through the SCT the auther got looked alot worse then what I get here in terms of coma.
beyond that it was an alright review.
, anyone else have thoughts on thi issue?? Maybe I'm just abit cranky today
