Not as impressed as I am with your understanding of Irish colloqialisms!
Funnily enough... A butty in Liverpool is slang for a sandwich. So well buttie would have a different meaning. The Scouse for a friend is Mukka (not sure if that's the right spelling but thats how you pronounce it). Apparently is comes from a middle east (arabic?) word for friend - Liverpool was once the premier stop over for ship traders.
Don't get me started on the 'alf an egg' poem or tears will flow....
