The stuff I use for the podcast is all just bits of the free loops that come with Garage Band .... I can email the full version of the background piece I use if you like Dave?

It seems that when I set my Midi keyboard to some improbably voiced synth-instruments, add some reverb and let my 3-year-old pound on the black keys, I get something that sounds a bit like 80% of the New age stuff the Marin County Californians used to play at their star parties.

In the old days, you'd probably just wave your hands in front of a Thermin/etherphone. The purple and orange light coming from the tubes added to the eerie effect...
