I've been observing since 1995, and have never seen it so bad for cloud, never this long

I've had a look over my imaging logs for the past 5 years, there is usually some imaging done every month, but I stopped in August and have done almost nothing since, that's the biggest gap in 5 years. The weather is just absolute crap ! :x

Same for me for any kind of observing. The past year has been really lousy. Apart from last Spring - we had a very sunny Spring 2006.

Looking at my imaging log it shows,

Sept 06- 7 nights
Oct 06- 2 nights
Nov 06- 4 nights
Dec 06 - 3 nights
Jan 07 - 0 nights :(

for comparison in Jan 06, I got 4 nights out and by this stage had 2 sessions under the belt!

Hi,
Funny how memory can be so short. Remember many weeks of continuous cloudy weather (that was pure fustration) before we saw that really great comet Hyakutake in 1996.
