Its cloudy here in Limerick, although I think you would have guessed that been only 12 miles form you, it supposed the brighten up later on, whatever that means, we'll see.
It's funny like that sometimes..
It can be lashing here (as it ust did on my dog & I out walking) :evil:
and sunny in Limerick.
Ahh you gotta love Ireland really though don't ya.
If you don't like the weather..wait 10 min!

I have been set-up now for about three hours and it is truly a stunning site. Venus is appreciably brighter than the moon with both celestial bodies visible by naked eye ... the view is most impressive even through my finderscope riding on the AP160.
We are about an hour from first contact.
Hope to have photos a few minutes after reappearance.
I sincerely hope the weather does everyone a favour for this majestic event.
