My thermal socks didn't work the night the EAAS had the great Lunar Eclipse night at Ballyearl! My feet were freezing (and Kieran threatened to kill me by planting landmines but that's another story!)
I've had the 105 out on Sunday and Monday night past, and she's outside at the minute whilst I'm waiting on my neighbours turning their lights out. It looks like a great night for observing!

I was going to go out tonight, but the moon is casting a glow across the sky,if I fell up to it I might go out later on when it has set.

Just after 2am and there has been quite a lot of haze all night but at least I can see stars.
