Got a good glimpse of the conjuntion for about 5 mins just before 7am in a break in the cloud. Not as spectacular as the last conjuntion between the two back in 1998 i think, bit farther apart, i think programs like Stary night can make you think they would have been closer than actually were, glad to have seen it anyways as opposed to the Eclipse last week.

Twas a bit too overcast to see them in Tyrrellspass this morning too. I did see them yesterday morning at about 4:40am hen I got home from work. They were surprisingly bright and steady for being so close to the horizon, haven't seen anything like it in years really!
Great shot Keith!

This morning (Friday) was cloudy here in Limerick, nothing seen, I'll try again tomorrow instead.

Saturday morning, 6.50 am, I just couldn't get out of bed any earlier.
There were small gaps in the clouds and got a 2 minute glimpse of
Venus and Jupiter, very nice, I went to get my camera and when I came back the clouds had covered it, ah well, atleast we've got another week to see it before they really pull apart.
