If you read all my posts on this thread you'll remember this:
Therefore I do not think you guys can't run the site, and I certainly did not state that anywhere.
On your second point re dialup, as I also mentioned it might be time again to do a poll and find out how many people are still stuck with dial-up. I can't believe that too many people still dont have a broadband option open to them (I could be wrong and am happy to eat my words).

Albert - I agree that there needs to be a limit its just that 200K still seems a little low.

Well if it turns out that we're getting lots of blocky images with lots of compression artefacts then we'll look at raising it.
