A Funny Thing About The Weather

There was the possibility of some clear skies last night on the east coast, needless to say here in south Dublin cloud ruled
I picked my wife up this afternoon from Glencree, about 25 kilometres south in the Wicklow mountains, where she was spending the night with the cubs. On the way home she told me that they went out for a walk around 10.30 and the sky was filled with magnificent stars, a little of which she spoke about, though she was not too knowledgable about the subject, she suggested to the cub leader about my going down on another night to talk to them.
Anyway, it shows how the weatehr can be different even over such a short distance, here cloud, 25 kilometres south, pristine skies.
Of course if I had been down in Glencree last night, then it would most likely have bene clouded and Dublin enjoying the stars.
And no, I'm not going so the Dubs can get some starlight.

Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better programs, and the universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the universe is winning.

I was out at a friends house in Bray last night and as I left at about 11:30 there was a nice clear patch in the sky with perseus in the middle. Of course by the time I got home, normal cloud had resumed:( .
Michael.
Sounds like a case of Murphy's Law...
:woohoo:
I'll get my coat...
