totally clear up in the North, was at the IAA organised event in County Down. Very dark skies, loads of Perseids including several fireballs and the milky way was awesome. Also Jupiter was so bright. Couldn't tell you how many meteors were spotted, but had a large crowd and it was good fun apart from the fact it was baltic.
